I am sure we will all enjoy all the hard work you have put into making this GTG happen. There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes that we don't see but it sure is appreciated.

Thanks to all those who have confirmed their accommodations.

Well...Rego's have closed. We have 16 confirmed and 2 more just putting their final ducks in a row, so should be 18 of us all up! We will put up the details of vehicle type etc at a later date.

So a big welcome to everyone and there will be lots of info coming your way via email over the next few months. I hope to have the camping costs finalised by next week (as I will have to start making some bookings anyway!) so keep an eye out for that.

We'll have an oztent and 2 swags. Not fussy if we're a bit cramped the last night. We'll manage.

It will be either a swag or turbo 300 tent. No trailer that's for sure. Maybe a gazebo? Or not.
Is that sufficient?

When you're sitting on the deck at Cable Beach resort, drinking your $15 stubbie, watching the sunset across the beach on another perfect day, as the camel trains wander up from the beach, you won't care about being a little crammed into the park.

Do they still give you those polystyrene stubble coolers? Only place I have been which did.


We just appreciate your efforts of organising this event. Understand some things are difficult.
Will trust your judgement on what you organise.

Excitement levels are sure building here. Had our first camp of the season the other week and it felt like we were in the Kimberly if we took away the coldness, the green grass, and the rain.

Ha ha, and the fact that you are wearing winter woolies and not T-Shirt, shorts and thongs...
