I wanted to reintroduce our old friend Jason, he's a suspension expert who's made many valuable contributions to Pradopoint in the past. It's great to see him back again!
His new name is Jason_4WDSpecialists.
I'm looking forward to some great suspension discussions with him in the future!

Retired teacher, but not enough spare time. Bought a used Prado after two motorcycle accidents on sand. At least I won't fall off this one.
This is my Prado:
Model: VX 3.0 L diesel with five seats (the rear row were out [previous owner] and got burned in bushfires).
Year: MY2008
Colour: Pearl white
Accessories: Toyota tow bar and electrical socket; HN7 SatNav; multiple USB adaptors in front power sockets; high breather vents; Primus freezer.
Wishlist: UNF radio (small unit - where do people fit them?); auxiliary battery, extra 12 V pouts in rear and 240 V sine wave inverter (to power computer power supply); snorkel, sixth wheel.
Can't think of anything else yet, but probably will.
My aim is to complete certain trips, then finish: Savannah Way, Gibb River Road; Tanami Track; Cameron Corner; Cape York; Bungle Bungles; source of Murray. Other suggestions welcomed.
My Prado has a "wrap" at the rear - RFDS donation info on the rear, dramatic motorcycle accident pictures on side rears.

Replenish my bank account
Time (to try everything out)
This said, I’m either stupid for buying everything and not knowing anyone to tag along with or I’m great at planning ahead!
I’m up to try anything within my capabilities so if you’re local and want some numpty tagging along then shoot me an email, I’ll make time?
New to the forum and almost a first time Prado owner. Have signed on a new Kakadu now struggling to wait for it to arrive. Looking forward to a long and reliable relationship with this vehicle, the last was difficult.
Cheers
Eddie
Welcome to PP Eduardo and Congrats on your new Kakadu ...
Thanks Ian, another quick question, I can't get the lock thing off the spare wheel, I'm assuming it's the key that pops out the bottom of the remote. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but key only goes half way in and I can't get it off. If I can manage to remove it I will be leaving it off. Is that the right key to use or I going to have to attack it with the die grinder.
TIA
Hi ryzee.
Yeah the metal key from the fob should unlock the locking nut on the spare. It doesnt go all the way in, so if it wont release i would squirt some WD40 into it.
Cheers
Ian
