For those wondering, this is the part number, 83265-60251 according to ToyoDIY.
The strange thing is it's heaps bigger than the normal clock/temp panel (83910-60180). No way it is going to change over.

Yes the ECU for the MFD is much longer than the clock, but there is plenty of room in that part of the dash, it slots straight in no worries.

If it was me I'd try and source one from a post 8/2007 Grande just to be sure. The part number is only one digit different to the pre 8/2007 ones and it's the last number so the difference is probably minor but it could be something like the plug is different which would ruin your day!

Did you have to modify the plastic surround to fit the buttons at the bottom or does that plastic surround come with it?

No, it comes complete with the surround and assembled with the ECU, Buttons, screen and surround.

Two screws and one plug and you are done.

Yeah you have to shop around with wreckers. I got mine out of Melbourne too, $50 and $10 postage to Adelaide.

I priced a intake temp sensor for the Hilux from a wrecker here in Adelaide. They wanted $100 for it. When I told them Peter Kittle Toyota (Next to this particular wrecker) only wanted $78 for a new one they still wouldn't come down in price!!

I actually stumbled upon the Grande trip computer it on Ebay, they had the leather interior and factory sat nav listed and I noticed the trip computer in the picture of the sat nav so sent them an email.

Happy New Year to all. I'm thinking of fitting a MFD, if I can find one at the wreakers, or fitting a Scanguage II to my V6, and was wondering the Pro's and Con's of either, besides the MFD looking factory.
Thanks in advance for any comments.
