FJ Cruiser Seen on the streets of Brisbane

    Hello Folks,

Just thought I'd run this observation past forum members.

Over this past weekend I've seen 2 x brand new FJ Cruisers driving the suburbs of Brisbane, and both have been on the Southside.
I wish I had my camera ready, but I saw a Blue one yesterday out at Browns Plains on Middle Rd.
This morning I saw another yellow one when I was on my way to Manly early arvo just after 1pm.

    Both vehicles looked brand new.

    Are these perhaps demonstrators ????

    Regards
    Stewy

Saw one in Zurich of all places last week. After that and then watching them all kitted out in the Dakar rally they've grown on me quite a bit.

Rang Peter Kittle enquiring about the FJ Cruiser and Toyota brought 5 into Adelaide for the dealers to test drive. They have all gone to WA. Not sure what the next destination is.

Not quite. They are in the Riverland for the next day or so and then getting trucked interstate in preparation for the national product launch event. After that they join the national roadshow. I used one of the five for our techncal evaluation and photo shoot over the weekend

For those in Perth interested here is some insider info:

there is a convoy of four FJ's leaving Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour at 10:30 this Sat (22-Jan) for a drive up the coast to Scarborough (via Cottesloe).
They'll be stopping at various spots along the way, and will give the anyone a chance to have a close look at the cars.

                      Re: FJ Cruiser for Australia

my wife let me know yesterday, that 2 FJ's were parked up in a garage near gosford.
they were parked there for the local dealer to play with.
guess they didn't want customers to see before full release
