Not really MK. Maybe if the fridge was smaller.

Rear door LED
Wired in a small LED light into the back door, to see into my Drifta and the fridge at night. It's hard wired to the fuse block in the back and is supplied by the aux battery.

Camper shakedown
Got the camper out of hibernation today. Set it up and double checked everything. Started making a push bike holder for the front drawbar as well.

I have had a wriggly noise in the front of the inner guard. I dropped out the second battery and the headlight looking for cracks in the inner guards. The noise was whenever I drove over small bumps the noise would appear. Finally I found that when ARB fitted the bullbar, as the inner plastic guards were trimmed to fit, the just jammed a part of the guard up against the wing of the bullbar. Once I trimmed the guard and refitted everything, my test drive proved no more bloody noises !
ARB need to start to think more about what they do..

Tomorrow I need to hard wire everything to the switch inside the cargo area. The wiring up behind the tail light was 'fun' to say the bloody least... I have set it up, so you just click the Deutsch connector together when you need power to the awning, when its not being used you just tuck it away. This saves having to drill into the frame of the awning and eliminates any chance of water getting into the awning.

[QUOTE=Matt - mr4x4;410167]Just sorted out a pair of Monster Rides progressive bumpstops from Matt at Monster Rides. Over at newhilux.net the lads are mighty impressed with increase in control at full compression when the front end bottoms out, off road. For the money, I'm keen to swap out the stock stops for these and try them out. I will report how they go.. Pics from newhilux.net fitted to a hilux /QUOTE]
Matt, how are these going?
I have since heard of a few failures of these on FJs at full compression as they are fairly soft.
Have they been ok on your prado ?
Cheers Robert[B]Robert

Hi Gumboot.
From memory the cable is just 4mm twin core from Auto One. My bumpstops are performing great, no issues at all.
I inspected them today while I was sorting out the noise in the front end.[CENTER][B][U]Matt
