Very tempting Troy. Bit of a shame I have to sell my Engel and slide to help fund the purchase. Don't think I could sell it quick enough.

I've played around with a couple of ideas for the mounting of a 2nd fridge recently, but I have been impressed with them. Now I'm thinking I may get rid of my 40L Engel and 80L esky and replace them with a 78L ARB Fridge. With the increased weight and size I'd like to get the fridge on the floor instead of on the drawer. A trip to ARB on Friday saw me pick up their largest fridge slide which will hold my esky this time, and the new fridge next time.

I made a template of the space in the rear and cut out a piece of 9mm MDF. The mounting points will be the 3rd row seat anchor points and the cargo barrier anchor point. A quick spray of matt black paint and she's all done. If this works out ok, I'll swap out the MDF for a sheet of 17mm plywood and then add a 2nd drawer on top of the 1st.

I also picked up a wind break for my awning from ARB which will allow both my son's and my sway to be totally under cover whilst we are away.
    Hi Dan
Just spotted on Gummie, a 78ltr ARB fridge located at Col Light Gardens.
    Cheers
    Troy

Well, it's been a while since I last updated so I thought a few pictures to show recent mods was in order.
I relocated the airbag valve to below the rear bumper, this is much quicker and easier to get to.

I also installed my steel replacement bar which I'm not totally happy with as it doesn't sit squarely. This meant I had to drill an 18mm hole to install the rear view camera. All in all they both turned out ok.

    Here's the link:
    http://www.pedalbox.com/en

It has 3 settings (Sport, Sport Plus and City), with another 3 settings inside each.
Sport - increased responsiveness, free revving, smooth gear changes.
    @ 70km/h - 14-1500rpm
Sport Plus - unbeleivable responsiveness, fast/smooth gear changes at around 3500rpm, great for overtaking above 80km/h
    @70km/h - 1300rpm
City - more torque low down for stop/start traffic, better pedal 'feel'
    didn't do the @ 70km/h test

To compare, when turned off I was sitting on 16-1700rpm @ 70km/h
I can see a few speeding fines coming the wife's way if she's not careful.

    I'll take a photo when I get a chance.
    Thanks Razorback

Well the tow hitch is on, but not properly. As hard as I tried, I couldn't get all the bolt holes lined up. The 2 bolts on the passenger side will not go in because the holes are misaligned by about 20mm.
If I give it a week and the have another go, hopefully she'll line up. No use getting annoyed and not thinking straight.

I took the rear bumper off this afternoon as well as the factory tow hitch in readiness for a Hayman Reese tow hitch. Just a quick trip down to Bunnings tomorrow morning for some replacement bolts. Should be all sorted by lunchtime.

Did I say Dr? My mistake! Though he does wear a white coat from time to time...

Lucky me. You didn't call the next day, I don't know whether to feel rejected or digitally violated.
