Got both reds and whites on order.
Also had to order some more lights for the centre and cargo as the 6smd that I tried weren't good enough for my wife.
    Getting the 48smd panels.
Should have got a red and a blue and put them in the map lights and turn them on alternately. Then see what happens when you drive in traffic.

Who knows Palmer you might just set the wheels in motion with a few Barry White tracks and your new "Mood Lighting"

    Here's a link for the BA9S lamps http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2x-BA9S-5...item3a795e4968

They also have Red so for the price if you want to try???

Here is a pic of the lamp installed.

I have also posted a couple of pics on who to remove the Map Light Lens Cover Here

You try putting any interior light on while driving at night and its harder to see through the wind screen, so the red map lights would help to dull the glare on the window.

Deffinately a much whiter light. Now just got to get one for the rear interior light (plus the ones for all the other lights that can be swapped to LED...)

I might have butchered the first one, but I managed to ressurect it with the help of a soldering iron - not as pretty as original, but it works.

I've installed 6 SMD lights, I think I would go for a larger panel next time I order some.

I'd been thinking of swapping some lights to LED and following seeing Smithy's install of his LED lights, I remembered I had a spare interior light LED after getting a 2 pk when I wanted one for my Rodeo.
I think I must be one of the few people to butcher a SMD LED during install. Luckily I could steal the one from my Rodeo.

When I picked it up I was told it's out of a BMW wagon, which rings true as half the written instructions on the net seem to be in German.
