Ha ha ha. My three scored a forby toy and some arb kids tshirts the last tome i took them shopping with me. Cheaper too leave the kids at home. What did they pick up that needs doing?

Took the prado into North West Off Road to get a pre-trip check-up done, and they agreed that it was in overall good condition, but they found a couple of things that i could check / do just to make things safer. These are the sort of things that you could probably get away with for a little while if you were sticking to more populated areas, but as we are planning to do a Simo trip then they will be done before departure.
Oh, and I made the mistake of taking my little girl in with me - so we ended up bringing a couple of extra things home that she (and her brother) wanted...

Got to admit it's better than the other slide I had spent a day and a half building. Oh well, was worth a try, but now consigned to the rubbish bin.

Thanks for that. Hels is taking the Prado in there on Tuesday to get a pre-trip inspection done, so might have to get her to check that out (she will be busting to buy something while she is in there, so may as well make it something that is needed).Originally posted by Smithy - 120 D4D View PostNW Offroad stock ARB frindge wiring kits - Right cable thickness, battery terminal connections, fridge (12v socket) connection on the other end and inbuilt fuse with plenty of length for around $50. When I get to that point, I will give you a call. I had only just remembered about needing a power source, and I figured that I need to start getting stuff organised pretty quickly.

If you need a hand or advice getting power for fridge to the back through the chasis rail like I did, let me know... Plenty of other paths you could take, of course...

These have been shoved well to the back of the list of things to do.Originally posted by Smithy - 120 D4D View PostThey took a while to arrive. Just in time for the weekend though
My main aim for this weekend is to get the fridge sorted on the draws and finish the install of the cargo net, then look at power socket for the fridge, then...
