Thanks AMTS - very happy with the Radiator plate too.
Got the rig in a pretty good state for touring now, and the first big test will be 5 weeks on the road from Tassie to Perth and back later this year, with the Wife and 3 kids, fully loaded and no trailer. Have done a couple of test runs through last summer, only for a few days at a time, but having the suspension done now means it will be a lot safer on the road when loaded up (no more looking at the sky).
Further mods will be more for desire than need, which is good, as the hip pocket is sufferring a bit - but I guess that is why we all work.2009 White KDJ120R Manual fitted out for family camping and touring - See my Rig Build at http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27887-Smithy-s-Rig-Build

Just been back to the vet and she has grown a very generous 60mm during the course of the day (from what is labelled a 2" lift). Put OME 2884 springs with 90000 sport struts in front, and 2896 springs and 60004 sport shockies in the rear.
No more parking in the garage for the time being though
Measurements as follows:
Before - LF 730, RF 740, LR 765, RR 770
After - LF790, RF 790, LR 830, RR 835
Goes to show how much the factory kit had sagged with the vehicle fit-out and 53,000km.
All in all, I am very happy with the end result in relation to drivability, but the real test will be when we load up for our big trip later this year.2009 White KDJ120R Manual fitted out for family camping and touring - See my Rig Build at http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27887-Smithy-s-Rig-Build

How did you ower the LED's Palmer? More pictures needed on this set up, looks bloody great. Between you and Palmer, you are costing me a small fortune after Kristy has seen what you both have.Tasmania 2015 GTG Committee Member 2005 Prado Pilbara, Sovereign Bar, Driver & passenger weathershields, UHF TX3220, Spare wheel spaces, Lifestyle rack, Genuine front & midrow seatcovers, Genuine front & midrow rubber floor mats, ARB 47 litre fridge/freezer, Hilux washer jets, BF Goodridge A/T, Radiator protection plate, Dual battery tray and isolator, ARB 2.5m awning, Rhino heavy duty areo bars, MSA rear wheel bin, MAXTRAX

Keen to see how it's wired up.
I'll be calling into NorthWest OffRoad later this week to check out the Ironman plug n play LED awning light kit that they are getting in. Retailing for $35, so I might be going the quick and easy option and just getting the kit (had planned to get all the bits and wire it myself, but I won't have the time to do it before we leave).

I put a small fuse bank into the lhs rear quarter just near the jack. Already had power there from when i wired in the fridge power and spare accessory. I have put a switch inside the rear door to keep it out of the weather, and run the wires through the lhs taillight then up to the rack next to the rear door seal. Had to drill a hole in the awning to poke the wires through, but all good. Looking for a replacement switch though as the one i have used isn't seating properly.Last edited by Smithy - 120 D4D; 18-07-2013, 01:12 PM.2009 White KDJ120R Manual fitted out for family camping and touring - See my Rig Build at http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27887-Smithy-s-Rig-Build
