      Re: two + Four's 2008 GXL

Not really part of the rig, but part of the camping gear. We camp often and had considered a camping trailer but it the end opted for a couple of 30 second tents for the flexibility (on the garden trailer or the roof depending on our plans). Anyway when camping with the trailer we like a little luxury and tend to set up a pretty full on campsite. Over Christmas we picked up an old double stainless steel sink so come Easter rather than going away when every one else does Pam and I knocked up camping kitchen (nicknamed the coffin)

Closed on a bunnings table with shortened legs and plumbed holes

Opened with the contents on display

      Plumbing connected

      Plumbing disconnected and on display

Nice looking sink setup Neil, you must have a lot of dishes to do when you go camping.

Ok a couple more mods done

              Added a TPO9X1 from digi-options

I have set it up so if it plays a DVD it can be displayed on the kids units in the back. Also using the Aux i/p if the kids play something it can be watch on the TP head unit.

Running iGO and Ozi explorer CE on it.

Also added a number plate replacement light rear view camera

And finally a LCD dual battery monitor that looks like an analogue meter

              From Autron http://www.autron.com.au/newweb/index1280.htm

                Hey Neil,

Shame I missed out on doing the install with you. I will have to organise another time to do mine when you are free. Looks like your running out of things to add to the Prado (if there ever was such a problem)

                  run out never....

Next will be the tyres, hopefully sooner rather than later.
I will need some sort of spacer for the spare (tempted by the Kaymar offering because I want a work light)
Then I will extend the breathers (already have the kit)
Need to run an earth cable for the Fridge power point rather than use the chassis
Need to run a power point for the kids DVD player so there is one less lead in the front
                  Anderson plugs
                  sliders

then there is the long term stuff...

John I will PM you with a time I think I am busy the next two weekends

                  Cheers Neil

Installed my Worklight Kaymar mount (External switch) with Ebay 5x3 watt cree LED lamp

Had a spare switch so installed that inside (Bottom left)

Hopefully get the breathers done before I go back to work.

                          Hi Ryan,

no holes in the back door. Originally I ran one wire for the switch and the lamp, but I blew the fuse a couple of times so I added a second wire and a relay.

Basically the two wires are wrapped with self amalgamating tape at various parts along their length and tucked under the window. They then go into some conduit to protect them from the hinge and down to the goose neck.

                          Wires: Lamp mount to Window

                          Wires: tucked under window

                          Conduit

                          Cheers Neil

Seeing this rig on Friday after Niel picked up the cargo cage, gave me some new inspiration of what mine can become ahhaha... Tax time has been put aside for a lift kit and dual battery install if things go well. WooHoot!

I love the way you have drilled out the bolt to feed your power cable through for your worklight.
