We had a Doctor Death here as well, also pronounced Deeth, ours was a Vet though.

    Cheers Andrew

It beats one training package that said you should undo each and every wheel nut one at a time with the brace and then snug them back up again just to be sure. As well as removing and replacing one wheel just to ensure the jack and accessories all work properly.

I think they are great we have them on all the Cranes and it makes the pre-start so much easier not having to reach in and check every one by hand.......bloody brilliant I think!

We had a few light vehicles that lost their wheels as no one had bothered to check the wheel nuts during their prestart check.
As mentioned above it's used as a quick visual reference although the odd nut indicator manages to get lost.

I assume you mean wheel nuts rather than my nuts. At my age those yellow things are gonna spin more than a merry go round.......

Spotted in Mwanza, here in Tanzania. One of the local driving schools was giving a learner a lesson. Both the instructor and the learner were on their mobile phones - neither were looking ahead !!

Got in an exploration vehicle once that lost a wheel due to loose wheel nuts. It's a good system especially if there are lots of different drivers and you don't know who is looking after the vehicle.
