I spotted a Ford wagon using a length of 35x70 (my best guess of size) as his roof rack. To make things more betterer, this "roof rack" was attached to the car using some shelving brackets tech-screwed straight into the roof!!

If I wasnt on the freeway doing 110, I'd have grabbed a photo...
