          • When you fitted yours did you set them at the max castor (4 deg) min camber setting?

                  Hey Adrian,

Driver side is pushed all the way in, pass side further out. It's this way because of how you need to run the caster split, I run 2.8deg/2.3deg caster split PS/DS, -0.25deg camber both sides, and at least 0.5mm toe in both sides.

I also put both spacers at rear to maximise caster. You can get 3.0deg caster, but you'll end up with 0.0deg camber. Some prefer it that way, I prefer a bit of negative camber because I like cornering hard!

I prefer castor the same both sides, I'll try the supplied washers at the rear of the bushes and see how that adjusts. Some neg camber will be nice..

Are you sure you have more castor PS? Usually it's DS to counter road camber or is my brain fogged up after all these years..
Pretty sure that's how I used to set trucks up (though bogie drives were adjusted to steer right).

                    Cheers

                      Hey,

Yep, more caster on PS, which sits lower than DS on our typically crowned city roads, so car will steer to left with caster set same both sides, increase caster PS to steer it up the hill and keep it straight.

Not so important out in the bush where most roads are flat, but if you live in the city like most of us do, PS biased caster split will be easier on the arms!

As a general rule the car will pull toward the more negative side of the caster. So if the right side is more negative (left more positive) the car will pull towards the right. Depending your set up, the sort of car you drive half a degree will not be noticeable to most. Mark car have a firm suspension, and he is very aware of every little minute details and then it can make a difference. What I am trying to say is if your caster angle is not fully equal both side on paper, and if the car drive fine....I would not worry about it. Up to 0.7 degrees difference would be ok on most car. I have seen car with higher difference and not pulling at all, adjusting those car could make them pull to one side ! My preference is a car that drive perfectly more than a 100% cute print out....
All this said, you will always find someone that have a different case....

                        • Yeah I thought I had it wrong, was a long time since tech and wheel aligning.
I prefer neutral feel, if the road cambers left I want it to pull left, on a dead flat road I want straight ahead.

                          Cheers
