There are plenty of spots for switches, 4 below the ignition, 3 below the ashtray and a couple if single spots by the gear lever and second start button....

A suspension lift will raise the front diff as it is IFS. Bigger tyres is the only realistic way to improve rear diff clearance.

I think ARB gives a three year warranty on most of it's products, so you might be just in time.
