I got one second hand and was told "everything was there". After I realised it wasn't all there, took a trip to ARB to buy all the extra bits, mostly bolts, spacers and the cage nuts/arms in the chassis. I also some new indicator/fog light surrounds and the Rubber Bumpers on the front while I was there.

I preped it by sanding it all down, cleaning up any small chips and then took it to get powder coated in Silver. Total price came in just under 1K. So just over half the price of a new black one.

Correct, I wanted a winch bar but couldn't find one so this will do until one comes up, then its as simple as just swapping the main bar I hope.

Very happy how it came out. Sold the old Alloy Bar and buyer also wanted the LED spotties, so I have ordered another set.

Today i installed a set of Philips X-treme Vision +130% headlight globes, and a set of the 4wdsupacenter 9" spotlights.

The Philips globes i got from powerbulbs.com for $34 when they had the sale on. They are not much of an improvement over the standard globes, the increase in light output and improvement in light color/temperature is very subtle. The 4wdsupacenter spotlights on the other hand are exceptional, and far better than i expected for the price of them. They have a good throw and spread for most situations and put out a lot of light, would definitely buy again.

Repolished the roof. I did it last week but it went powdery. A mate of mine gave me a tip of when you spread the polish around give it a light mist spray of water then rub the polish. Made a massive difference. Got the marks off and it's now shiney and smooth.

Front 555mm max length, even less than my old Bilstein 712's (560mm) Not suitable for a lifted Prado, it will top out.

    Good luck with it.

Not much rust, but too much time in the outback, hardly any time on the bitumen. Red dirt!
