Yeah just for the dash. I would imagine (or wouldn't want to) that shipping from amayama would be quite a bit too.Originally posted by amts View PostIs that $1.3k from Amayama for parts only? Dealerships are charging $900 for parts.
$900 is actually pretty good considering its from dealership!

I still haven't heard back from my local dealer yet. Might find another dealer to do it as my car is less than a month away from the 10 year mark.

I had the same problem with Sky Fleet Toyota in Brisbane, I have an 05 Petrol Grande. They told me it was over the 10 years and would not come to the party at all. I bought a new dash for $915 and fitted it myself. I have the old one if anyone wants it to get recovered.

That was just one dealer, I appealed first with the dealer and then to Toyota directly, the last time I spoke with a manager at Toyota and he wouldn't move on the ten year cut off.

Is that through 4 different dealerships Adrian?
Did you appeal any of the decisions?

Mine has been denied 4 times now, I have been persistent and polite but they seem to be dead set against approving warranty on vehicles over 10 years now. I would be interested if anyone has any more success than I have had.
