no not really, it has a definite V noise but cruising isn't much louder than the roof rack

Installed a 22" LED Light bar to my Prado.
Managed to find the high beam wire under the steering column, to tap into.
Pretty straight forward install.
Light bar was about 70mm too long to fit to top of bullbar, so mounted it to the base of the bullbar.
Next job is to finish the custom dash-top box for the CB. Will be installing a Uniden UH8080S with only remote handset being visible.1999 Prado VX Grande White on Silver 3.4Ltr Auto

Changed plans.
Ended up putting the radio unit (UH8080S) in the small compartment up under the centre console. Was not using it cause it was a fair bit back from the console trays around the transmission stick.
I will keep the handset in the glovebox, as 99% of the time i wont require it.
Dont even notice the cb now, especially as i have the electric brake controller fitted in where the ash tray was previously fitted. See there as benifits being a non-smoker.... LolLast edited by CoreyTroy; 09-06-2016, 05:07 PM.1999 Prado VX Grande White on Silver 3.4Ltr Auto
