    Hi kitton,
I'm in the process of buying a new Prado and your deal sounds great, as these are accessories that I am looking at as well. Can I ask what dealer that was from?
I'm located in Sunbury, not too far away

    Cheers
    Rob

Got mine in Brisbane. It is a March 2016 plate GXL 2.8L diesel in wildfire red. $66300 drive away no more to pay with full tank of fuel, 12 months rego, cargo and floor mats, headlight and bonnet protectors, tow bar and arb colour coded bullbar and 3yr 150000km extended warranty. Was really happy with the deal and service. This was their price first go which no one else wanted to match.

    Evening buyers,
Brisbane dealer, 2016 GXL Auto (March build) for delivery April. Graphite, front sensors, rubber foot and cargo mats, tint for front windows, towbar & 12mths reg 61.5K driveaway, private use.

I think I had a few hundred more to go but was getting a bit awkward, but pretty stoked as their first offer was 61,990 for a 2016 demo in a wonky colour.

oh yes, pictures indeed, but I'll put them in a "build" thread rather that here in the pricing thread.

So far I am VERY happy with the TJM gear, the bull bar maybe not as "classy" as the ARB bar, but its very very robust, and and its basically half the price of some other bars. Ill start a build thread soon...been busy installing UHF etc..

The stamp duty is the same 3% on both nsw and qld but rego is about $600 dearer in nsw. Went thru the sums when buying mine prior to moving to qld but it was still cheaper at the time from a nsw dealer, $50800 da at time for last of 3litre

Yeah you're so right about the Discovery. Two of my best friends have them and although they are both very competent vehicles, the value for money is just not there and the parts!!!!!!!!!!! You have to pay a fortune for them and the lower spec (sub $100,000) models come very poorly equipped. My mates Disco 4 cost more than my Kakadu and when he bought it new, it did not even have a GPS! I bought a 2016 Prado Kakadu and it comes standard with EVERYTHING (well almost lol). Value for money, standard equipment levels, price of parts and servicing and Australia wide parts and servicing, you can't beat the Prado. Also you can haggle (zillions of Toyota dealers) but only 1 Discovery dealer around where I live (Barbagalos) and they are so up themselves, they don't even return your enquiries. Stick with the Prado, you can't go wrong with Japanese reliability.
