My claim was rejected. Build 12/03. Peter Kittle Para Hills. No reason for rejection offered by HQ to the dealer.

The wording of the CSE document was pretty ambiguous to say the least.
Pursue it with toyota as mexmike said, that's what I'll do if mine's rejected.
Spoke to Toyota today and they have given me a claim number. Should hear from them in the next couple of days so will keep at them until I get a fair resolution.

I've got an 11.03 gxl and it was done under warranty about six weeks ago, age isn't an issue it depends how hard you want to push the envelope people. Be polite, know your rights and don't take no for an answer..

I didn't really get a reply, just took some photos and they'll send them to toyota. The guy I spoke to did say mine was a particularly bad one.
Mine's an '04 build date but wasn't complianced until Jan '05 (which is what they go off).

On the spot. It was within range so dash was ordered and job booked in. It seemed like it was a known issue to them and they may have booked in more 120's before me. They are definitely not advertising it, considering my car was in for the towbar check just two weeks ago.

That is what i was told. The first bloke i talked to said he wasn't sure, because it is just over ten years old, but the women behind him actually just had the paperwork in her hand and I saw it had the VIN number range listed down as they looked at it. Some photos were taken of my dash and then new dash ordered from Japan today. Takes a few weeks to get here apparently and they allow around 3 hours for the job. Stoked. Get into your local dealer and get it done!
