Once mine hits 0 DTE I reset the Odo and have gone another 130 kms after that, I usually go to 75 after DTE hits 0 to be safe.

I got one from a wreckers in Qld for $100 posted to me in Adelaide. I found it through the Trading Post, the car had just arrived in stock. I believe they get snapped up pretty quickly. I was looking for a couple of months for mine but I was happy to wait so I have the factory look.2008 V6 GXL Graphite, Sovereign bar, LED spotties, BFG A/T tyres, King Springs on rear with KYB off road shocks, Engel 40lt fridge, Dual batteries, Uniden CB.

Picked up one of these bad boys. So easy to install, about 15 minutes.
Powered on the car and its displayed in imperial! (actually wasn't too much a surprise, ebay pics showed it was imperial. I assumed the car ECU would send which type of measurement to use).
Anyone know how to change the measurement type? I had a look at some of the American/Canadian forums and they suggest it can only be done at the dealer. I guess through an OBD cable and software..

I dont think it can be changed as the computer systems are all set up for non metric measurements. Sounds like it was out of a Lexus GX470 which was the Prado 120 series equivalent in the US but with a V8 engine. Keep looking in Aus and i am sure one will turn up. As i said i waited a couple of months but kept looking daily.2008 V6 GXL Graphite, Sovereign bar, LED spotties, BFG A/T tyres, King Springs on rear with KYB off road shocks, Engel 40lt fridge, Dual batteries, Uniden CB.

I have a feeling you're the same guy from the Prado group on Facebook who just got the Lexus display. I'll just quote my comment:
"Try the mode button? sorry. I think it's programmed into the units board to read imperial. Not sure"[B]CANYONEROOOOO *whipping in the distance*

/Old thread bump!
I finally got around to doing this upgrade. I stalked a few wreckers on Gumtree until i found a local one that had a Grande. Quick call and found out that it was already gone! Apparently these are still hot property and this place quoted around $75. Luckily i soon found another and even better they only wanted $50 for it. Took all of about 10 minutes to install in the driveway. I had loosened the wiring loom bolt when removing the original unit, so i was disapointed to see that it didn't do anything except tell the time when i first tested. I soon realised my mistake and sure enough it works a treat!
The only weird thing i've noticed is the instant L/100km readout sits at 99.9 when you're not moving. According to the manual it's normal to see a high value when stopped but what a weird design? I thought it was a busted feature until i drove the car.

i just bought one of these from a wrecker in QLD. hoping it just plugs and plays. didn't bother asking what year or fuel type it was from. just a 120 Prado.
