    • All good craig, I cut up a bit of insertion rubber to use inbetween the metal to stop any rubbing. All good and my rear bag fits perfectly now.
      Cheers

      • Quick question, do people leave the lights on all the time? Or only put them when needed? I'm a little concerned about all the extra weight on the back door. Am I just being paranoid?

        • I made mine removable. Now I have a problem of where to store the lights in the car :P

          • Haha thats my problem too! There is never enough room, (or I take too much stuff), and lights wont exactly be easy to store...

            • as we now have an MSA spare tyre bag and it only goes on when we go away, I might chuck the light in there.

              • Finally get to complete my rear light install.

This is the bolt with the hole in the middle to run the power cable through. The bottom left bolt hole is the best one to use for the 120 as the wire coming through the door is easiest to pick upfrom the inside of the door.

                • I also had a 90 come over for a test fit of the prototype. It needs a very small tweak but otherwise, there is plenty of room. Tyre fitted in the pic is a 265/70R16. So plenty of space for wider tyres.

                  • Prototype of the 150 light pole bracket was sent to NSW for a test fit. That one requires slightly more work but the paper mockup of the new revision has been tried on the vehicle and it looks promising. More bits getting sent to the fabricator this week.

The locking mechanism is more robust and the height is at set heights. You can probably drill new holes into the aluminium extrusion. The yellow bit is fibreglass (wished it wasn't yellow, though).
